I’ve always had a fear of going to the dentist, but this office completely changed my experience! They are always gentle, explained every step, and made sure I was okay throughout the visit. I actually feel calm at the dentist instead of anxiety. From the front desk to the dentist everyone is professional and welcoming.

I’ve been coming here since 2011 and as someone with extreme dental anxiety, I can tell you this is the place to be. Everyone is so kind and friendly! Dr Back is knowledgeable and gentle.

Hands down the best dental experience I have ever had. The staff is so friendly. They explain everything as they are doing it, are gentle for cleanings and X-rays. The building is beautiful. Windows in the examination rooms so you can focus on nature. They put essential oils on your bib, provide Carmax for your lips, have the most up-to-date equipment. I have never enjoyed going to the dentist, but this was such a positive experience all-around that I am actually looking forward to going back.

Dr. Back is an outstanding dentist. I had revision of all my teeth that involved crowns and 3 bridges and I am so happy with the results!! I have perfect teeth. The color is perfect. We traveled back 1500 miles 6 times last year three (4500 miles) were for dental medical emergencies to see Dr Bach and her outstanding staff. The minute you open the door to the inviting, tasteful ,clean, peaceful establishment , with it's warm reception, professional, compassionate and extremely well run,highly trained , talented team of true artists you feel as comfortable as possible under the essential oil scented blanket and circumstances. Additionally they responded on weekends and holidays and assisted with insurance companies. I highly recommend you give Sarasota Smile Design a try especially if you're in the Sarasota Area.

I recently went in to get a pair of no prep veneers, one pair being longer vampire style veneers. I felt so weird asking for a consult for something like that but the whole office made it easy. They helped me with a payment plan and before I knew it I was scheduled to get it done. I have to say I AM IN LOVE!!! Dr Back and everyone there made the process so comfortable and fast. It feels like a spa experience in a way. Overall the professionalism is a 10/10, and the leadership Dr. Back exhibits is on point, I can tell she really cares and I would recommend anyone to visit this office. We always have a great experience. However today was different....Jessy handled herself in a professional manner while a husband and wife were in there acting all negative speaking rude to Jessi about a misunderstanding about an appointment change. Jessy apologized over and over and even made their appointment right and they were both able to be seen. But wow....that was uncomfortable to be around while waiting in the waiting area. But thank you Jessy and to all your staff on for always making us feel welcome and comfortable and always having an opening that accommodates our schedules.

Today I had an emergency dental appointment. I was extremely pleased with the preparation and follow-thru of excellent safety measures. My Dentist and her assistant had appropriate safety gear on, I had my temperature taken before entering the waiting room and asked to use hand sanitizer at that time. At every point during my treatment I observed excellent dental and safety practices. I felt comfortable that everything was being done that was possible to do to be safe. Yes! My dental problem was solved! I am thankful. I know i have found the perfect dental care at Sarasota Smile Design!

I look forward to “going to the dentist”!!! Having spent most of my 64 years hating and fearing this experience, moving to Sarasota and finding the Sarasota Smile practice has made that a thing of the past. I have a warmed blanket and pillow waiting there. I have had a staff of professionals that are every bit as welcoming and comforting as my own family and friends. Both Dr. Back and Dr. Strompf are extremely personable. I have learned through them to trust their professional decisions and marvel at their skill set. I have had cleanings, a crown and braces in the three years in their practice. Every procedure was explained in advance, with freedom to choose what I would feel appropriate for my dental as well as financial needs. As the procedures were happening, the doctor in charge as well as support staff, encouraged me to communicate any discomfort, especially fear! Suffice to say, I am a big fan and consider Sarasota Smile an unexpected delight in my move from New England. Truth is, I miss them between my visits.

My visit to Dr. Back’s office was one of the most touching moments I’ve experienced in years. I am a 41 year old grown man and I teared up in her office because of her unexpected and genuine kindness. I am not a wealthy person, so I wanted to check prices while reviewing the diagnosis of another unrelated dentist. I made copies of my x-rays and prognosis and brought them to 11 dentists here in Sarasota. Most of them refused to review my x-rays and insisted on scheduling a new evaluation visit. Some of them reviewed my prognosis and gave me their expected prices. Dr. Back was the only dentist who brought me back to personally look at my tooth problem. She even took new x-rays and consulted me. She understood my fanatical concerns and did all of all of this pro bono and referred me to the most affordable dentist she knew of. I teared up because I was so touched by her kindness. When you don’t feel well, kindness is especially meaningful. Dr. Back was far more than kind. She is genuine in her efforts to help people feel better and comforting them about their concerns. I was shocked, especially after going to so many offices first. She was the only dentist who went so far as to look at anything other than my previous x-rays. And after all of that she even gave me a big hug. While many dentist offices are successful businesses, Dr. Back is a human with empathy and a heart. She really does want to help people. The hippocratic oath that doctors pledge is much more that privacy rights, its an oath to protect and serve society. She takes this to heart. Wonderful staff and an amazing dentist. Jenifer Back and her team are professional and meticulous with their services and procedures. I highly recommend them... especially if you are afraid of the dentist chair, like myself.

This is by far the best dental practice I've ever been to. I've been to quite a few between living in different areas and this one is amazing. The staff in all areas is exceptional. The two main dentists there are phenomenal. I've had very extensive work done throughout my life and unfortunately experienced much discomfort during procedures but I couldn't believe how well they mitigated the pain and discomfort .I highly recommend for any and all needs and wants.

The establishment meets the expectations you'd expect to receive as a patient. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. The wait time wasn't even a factor due to the prompt driven team that assisted me along the way. The dental assistant was extremely informative during the cleaning process and demonstrated true concern when it came to certain areas that can be difficult to take care of and gave me advice on how to take care of the more difficult areas to prevent future problems. She treated me as if we had known eachother for a long time, which really made it a calm and comfortable experience. The dentist demonstrated proficient skill in her work as well. I have no complaints about the work she performed. Her craft makes her s true artist at her trade. This is my regular place of dental care from now on. I definitely reccoment you go and take advantage of the professional way things are run in the office. I feel their main goal was accommodating clients first which is hard to find in a dentistry lately. Im happy with my results and impressed with the genuine care for each client that walks in. The staff have a more human way if interacring that separates this dentistry from the rest whom simply detatch their human side from their professional place. compassion is key, and I definitely want my mouth drilled into from someone who can she'd some good vibes during the process. (shout out to Shannon) She is the dental assistant I'd request just for her pleasant mood and excellent skill set.

I highly recommend Dr. Back and the hygienists at Sarasota Smile Design. I have had cleanings, a veneer and a crown done here. Really pain free, quick work, friendly and comfortable experience. The veneer is pure artistry and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. There is no weird dental office smell, and it feels more like a spa than a dentists office. The easiest dental experience you’ll get!

Felt very comfortable and relaxed

Recently I found myself residing in Sarasota for 10 days and a chipped front tooth. I turn to my realtor for a dentist and she highly recommended Dr. Jenifer Back. However, I could not imagine the superior service I was about to receive, from the administrative staff professionalism and courtesy – I mean not scripted answers, but genuine responses to my concerns - to Dr. Back assessment of the damage caused in the tooth and guide through the procedure and her assistant. The office was smartly outfitted with cabinetry covering all the equipment as to not intimidate someone as myself. I sincerely believe they capture my sense of uneasiness because they showered me with ultra-most sensibilities and kindness. And now I even have a broader beautifully SMILE…

So happy to finally have found a beautiful dentist office to go to. A welcoming, warm and friendly staff were not just a false front. Dr. Back was fantastic, knowledgeable, caring, a true professional who got straight to the “root” of the problem (which went unnoticed at my 1st attempt that day at a previous dentist) After 4ys I have finally found somewhere I will look forward to going back to!

All The BEST for the patients :) No one really likes going to the dentist but all the will change with the fantastic service and kindness that you'll receive from Dr Back and her entire staff. I was at one point I was so afraid to fix my teeth. I am so glad I chose Sarasota Smile Design. It is hard to express how amazing Dr. Back and her staff are. I feel odd calling them staff. To me they have become like family. My journey has been rather extensive with basically a total reconstruction of my smile. I absolutely love this place. Have been going there for several years. They're always on time, they are extremely courteous, and it is very clean. Not to mention helping me maintain a beautiful smile. I recommend them to everybody looking for a dentist. I love my dentist!. I have a friend that recently went to a oral surgeon specialist in Lakeland. He asked if they knew anyone locally that he could go to and they recommended Dr. back. When I found out I told him,"hey that's my dentist!" The funny thing is is I've been trying to get him to go out there for years.

I've had dentist phobia all my life and only go when the pain is to much to bare. Thank goodness i found Sarasota Smile Design that treated me with my fears in mind. Every one of the doctors and staff are so compassionate and they all remember your name which is a huge plus for me. They don't push their products like most do, they have led me to other places where i can buy the dental products cheaper. HUGE PLUS ! I don't mind being treated with kid gloves or holding my hand when they sense my uneasiness, it's exactly the response i expect. Thanks for my new smile, i no longer put my hand over my mouth when i laugh.

I have been seeing my brother who has been a dentist since 1972. He is a DDS and has a Masters and has lectured in many countries in restorative and pediatric dentistry. I and then my wife felt extremely pleased with his multiple practices and a staff of forty. We moved to Sarasota from California two and a half years ago. It was time to find a local and very qualified dentist and associates. We discovered Dr. Back and feel very comfortable with her and her staff. All are very qualified and utilized the latest of technology. The doctor recognized what I thought was the need for a root canal, was actually the beginning of a serious case of shingles. I appreciate the fact that the dentist went outside their area of expertise, into the area of dermatology and neurology. She recommended that we see a dermatologist. We are indebted to Dr. Back and her staff.

You walk in and are greeted by friendly staff. There are mini water bottles in the fridge for thirsty patrons. You are given a freshly washed warm blanket and pillow to use while in the chair. Dr. Back and her staff are great. I especially love Sara and Kimber.

I have been going to Sarasota Smile Design for years. They have a friendly efficient staff. They do amazing dental work. Very detailed oriented and beautiful office. I highly recommend using them.

I have been dealing with dental issues for years, have been to 3 different dentists and none of them have been able to tell me whats wrong, until Smile Design. The office is not only beautiful but full of state of the art equipment. The hygenist that cleaned my teeth was extremely knowledgeable and talked me through the whole process. I saw Dr. E and he was very thorough. I have never had such a positive experience at a dentist. Definitely highly recommend Smile Design.

In my entire life I had bad experiences with dentist BUT the second I walked into Sarasota smile omg the staff was very helpful, courteous and well professionals. I had the best dentist initial visitation where I actually felt like I was home, Dr. Back was quite friendly and made a good impression on me, thank you to her, Kimber and the rest of the staff I will continue going there for any dental work, I know they will help me have a smile again when I walk my little 22 yrs old daughter down the aisle on February '17.....I recommend them to everyone.

Friendly, caring environment. Great comprehensive exam. My first visit, and I feel very comfortable with the plan of care that was made for me. Dr. Back was great, as was the other staff! Everything was explained in terms I could understand. The office is beautiful, and when I walked in, I said to myself, "I probably won't be able to afford this", but was pleasantly surprised when I received my bill. I was given a written estimate of the cost of the plan of care which I think is reasonable. Thank you, Dr. Back and staff for a good dental experience!

Dr. Back is the best dentist ever! I've always had a fear of dentists, but this is more like a relaxing spa treatment. She is kind, friendly and makes you feel as though you have been her best friend forever. I can't say enough good things about her staff. They are on top of everything and greet you by name as you walk in and are very quick and knowledgeable about insurance, etc, There are no surprises as far as what your treatment plan is, and the amounts you pay and the insurance pays. But, more than that it is the cleanest dentist office I have ever been to. So, my fear is perhaps deep rooted (no pun) about dentist, but now I know I have a good one on my side. Just had a wonderful experience at the Sarasota Smile Design. Dr. Back was excellent as was her assistant Barb. I called their office shortly after 8:30 a.m. to advise that I had a filling come out. I was able to get in at 11:00 a.m. They did their exam and I was in need of a crown with a 50/50 chance of having to have a root canal. But Dr. Back was able to get to the cavity and did not have to have the root canal. I was very happy with the professional service that I was given. Everyone in the office was so nice and friendly. I've found my new Dentist for Florida.

The moment you step into the facility you are at ease. The simple but refined décor immediately lets you know that this practice is the right choice for you. You are greeted with a warm smile by the reception desk and it sets the tone for your whole experience. The moment you sit in the chair you are given a pillow for your head and a blanket ( you can decline if you do not need one). One of the special touches that they do is ask if you want any aroma therapy on the bib that they put around your neck to ease and comfort you before the treatment has begun, I choose to mint eucalyptus. I have not been to the dentist in 18 years and was very nervous about going, the whole experience from the x-rays to the work I got done was flawless. The doctors and doctors assistances genuinely want you to feel comfortable and if you have any pain and or discomfort it is addressed immediately before any more work is done. This is a 5 star practice, and it makes going to the dentist more like going to see a good friend.

I had a very pleasant experience at Sarasota Smiles today when I had a filling with Dr. Back. Her staff is welcoming and warm and makes you feel like a person and not a "patient." Dr. Back is very skilled and conscientious and she made my visit comfortable and painless. Dr. Back is one of the few dentists that I leave feeling so much better than I did when I came in and for entire experience I felt I was being treated with care and consumate attention.

Very impressed with Sarasota Smile Design. I was concerned locating a good dentist in Sarasota. I moved here from Chicago and had a wonderful dentist there. My first experience was excellent. The whole process from check in, xrays, exam and cleaning was professional, painless and polite. Love a dentist with modern processes.

We were in Sarasota for a few months, and I lost the bonding in one of my front teeth. Reluctant to wait a month until going home, I called my dentist for a recommendation and he referred me to Dr Back. I called late on Mon, described my situation, and had an appt the next day. Dr Back did a great job, and I left as good as new. She is thorough, professional and personable, as is the staff. I had an up front quote, including insurance estimate, and there were no surprises. Excellent facility, friendly and professional staff, could not be more satisfied. I have had the same dentist at home in KY for over 40 years. Seeing another dentist was a little uncomfortable, but this visit reassured me that I have a new dental option during our seasonal stays in Sarasota. Thanks to everyone.

The front office staff were warm and welcoming. The hygienist that cleaned my teeth did an excellent job and took time to answer any questions that I had. Dr. Back's warm personality made me feel comfortable and calm.

I am a returning patient and love Dr. Becks professional staff and state of the art equipment. I came in for a cleaning with Lee who probably was one of the best hygienists ever. The atmosphere is so relaxed that you feel like you are in a spa. I actually fell asleep during my whitening treatment. That's never happened to me!

5 star service at this office! I ended up here because I needed an emergency root canal over Christmas.They made me feel comfortable and took great care of me!

I am regular patient here, and I absolutely love coming here. The staff is great and Dr. Back is always warm and friendly, and they truly make sure you are comfortable and relaxed. It takes away from the fact that you are going to the dentist.

This was by far the best Dental experience I have ever had!!! Dr. Back is absolutely amazing. I have never worked with anyone who has this high of standard for quality. The attention to detail started with the offering directions to the office when I scheduled my appointment. I went to Jennifer Back's dental office for a teeth whitening procedure and loved the attention I received! While having my mouth spread open for 3 15 minute treatments I was constantly looked in on by her staff "Can I get you a pillow", "would you like a blanket?", "are you comfortable"....my answer was yes to all the questions and I had a relaxing and positive experience with Dr. Back and her staff!
